Last Load…

Made in Muskoka Christmas, Huntsville’s new Fine Craft and Art Show is less than 2 weeks away!  I’m finishing up my production for the show, and will then turn my attention to preparing my display.  I’ve done scores of craft shows over my 30+ year career, but most of my display parts went to the dump when I made the move to Muskoka 9 years ago.

Ready to fire!

Here’s my last "fuse" load, ready to fire.  After they are fused, ground and slumped, these pieces will become small landscape bowls and plates, and colourful spoon rests.

I’ll have plenty of these smaller gifts at Made in Muskoka Christmas, as well as a variety of larger art pieces for those special people in your life.  Be sure to check out madeinmuskokachristmas.com for loads of gift ideas!  And if you can, join us for our opening reception Dec. 13 from 6-8 pm.  Lake of Bays Brewery will be on hand with samples of their brews, and you can savour delicious finger food while you view the show.
